Having graduated with dual degrees in Pharmacy and Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney, Dr Andrew Wong is well equipped to competently deliver safe and complete patient care since dentistry often is governed by its intricate relationship with medicine. Andrew is a professional and caring dentist who listens and understands the needs of his patients and is committed to excellence in his work and treatment. Andrew's patients often comment on how gentle he is and how quickly he is able to build rapport with his patients, especially with kids. With a particular interest in aesthetic and family dentistry Dr Wong takes pride in providing high quality dental care specifically tailored to his patient's needs. Dr Wong has received many accolades in dentistry including the Martin Halas Prize No. 1 for clinical proficiency and professionalism in final year of dentistry, the Haddon Kemp Medal for clinical proficiency in oral surgery, the Colgate Cariology Prize and the Brigadier Gordon Rowell Prize for proficiency in preventative dentistry. Not one to rest on his laurels he also regularly attends lectures and conferences to keep in touch with the latest dental advancements which often results in more efficient, comfortable and conservative treatment for his patients. Being passionate about his work, Andrew is an active member of the dental community and is currently a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Inner West Dental Study Group. He sits on the board of the Young Dentist Committee which assists junior dentists in their transition into the work force. In his spare time, Andrew is a prolific writer and is often invited to contribute articles to dental publications and websites including Dental Student Magazine and the Young Dentist Magazine.
