Dr Andrew B Liaw is a male Specialist Periodontist.
After completing his undergraduate degree at James Cook University in Cairns, Andrew decided to escape the humidity and relocate across the country to frosty Tasmania, working in both public and private practice. Since finishing his dental studies, he decided that five long years of university clearly wasn't enough, completing a two-year research degree. He has now returned back to our Sunny state to undertake a further 3 years of specialist training in gum disease and implants at the University of QLD. He is also actively involved in teaching and clinical supervision of undergraduate dental students at JCU and UQ.
Andrew is a strong advocate for providing the highest levels of patient service and practices all aspects of general dentistry. He has special interests in addressing periodontal and implant concerns, and maintaining healthy gums and a healthy smile for life.
