Dr Andrew J Chan is a male General Dentist who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin (as well as English).
I am a dual trained dentist with both a medical and dental degree. I obtained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2009 and went on to obtain Fellowship at the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in 2013 and a Doctor of Medicine from Flinders University in 2017. I worked as a Doctor at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital and have held a teaching position at the University of Melbourne Dental School. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in oral surgery, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and treating patients with dental anxiety. In addition, I am also an accredited Invisalign provider. Outside of medicine and dentistry, I enjoy volunteer work, having undertaken volunteer work in Ghana, Northern Territory and Cambodia where I provided education, dental care and health awareness to under privileged members of the community. I am also the author/co-author of several research papers surrounding Advanced Oral Surgery.
