Born in Adelaide, Australia, Dr Andrew L Barbera is a registered Specialist Orthodontist with over 15 years experience within the dental profession.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2001, Andrew spent several years in private dental practice at Broken Hill and Cobar, NSW. He returned to Adelaide in 2005 and obtained first class honours for the Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Hons). For his honours degree and thesis he was awarded the Colin Cormie Scholarship by the Australian Dental Research Foundation.
Dr Andrew L Barbera is a full time clinical orthodontist, working as the private Practice Principal of North Adelaide Orthodontics, and as a Senior Visiting Specialist in the public Orthodontic Unit, Adelaide Dental Hospital. Andrew enjoys working with people of all ages from children to teens to adults, believing everyone should have the opportunity of a great smile and good bite. Andrew co-ordinates orthodontic treatment well with each patient's general dentist and is very thorough in his approach to treatment diagnosis, planning, and techniques.
