Dr Amy YC Fam is a female General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Amy Fam completed her Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Genetics. She then exchanged her agarose gels and centrifuge tubes for dentistry, gaining her qualification through the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) graduate program at the University of Melbourne. Amy was included on the Dean’s Honours List in 2010, 2011, and 2013 during her studies. She was also awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Dental Award of Merit for excellence in coursework and activities in her graduating year.
After graduation, Amy spent a few years in northern rural Victoria and gained valuable experience as a clinician. She has since moved back to Melbourne to be closer to family. Amy is a member of the Australian Dental Association. She dedicates much time and effort attending courses to acquire new knowledge and techniques, so that she can offer patients better care.
