Dr Amit P Gurbuxani is a male General Dentist who speaks Hindi and Sindhi (as well as English).
Dr Amit Gurbuxani is a general dentist who completed his dental degree with First class honours in 2004, winning the trophy for best outgoing student in his final year at dental school, before going on to work in full time private practice.
His commitment to providing the best care for his patients and his belief in the importance of primary dental health motivated him to do his post graduate studies and he was awarded his Master’s in Dental Public and Primary Health under an Australian Government Scholarship from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2010.
Upon completion of his Masters, Amit was conferred with Membership to the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS) in the field of Dental Public Health in 2011.
Amit has been a partner at the Mi Dental clinic since 2014 and has a special interest in laser applications in dentistry, utilisation of Piezoelectric energy in dentistry and extended applications of Minimally Invasive techniques to provide a healthy and longer lasting smile to his patients.
Amit also has a passion for teaching and has held various positions such as Senior Clinical Lecturer and Clinical Co-ordinator for undergraduate final year students at UWA School of Dentistry since 2010 onwards. He is also a serving member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) WA Branch council and Co-chair of the Student-Liaison and Recent Graduate committee, ADA, WA branch.
