Dr Amber M Halstead is a female General Dentist.
Though she used to be scared of the dentist as a child, thanks to a positive experience in the dental chair, Dr Amber knew that she wanted to help other people feel safe and understood at the dentist’s office like she did. Dr Amber also finds it fulfilling to give patients choices and help them decide what is best for them. She always aims to offer patients sensible treatment that lasts. Dr Amber earned a Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons) from the University of Western Australia in 2007. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne. To stay abreast of the latest in the field, she regularly takes continuing professional development (CPD) courses every year. She is particularly interested in oral medicine, endodontics, prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry. She also has a keen interest in disease processes and helping people become healthy. Outside the Practice When she’s not working, Dr Amber enjoys raising her children, baking, reading, walking and learning about her new hometown of Canberra.
