Dr Kiki Devgun is a female General Dentist who speaks Tamil, Hindi and Punjabi (as well as English).
Dr Amarjot Devgun or Kiki as she prefers to be called obtained her license to practice in Australia in 2009 through the Australian Dental Council. She also holds a Grad Cert in Oral Health from La Trobe University, Vic. She has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors in different states of Australia. She became a Team Leader with UQ from 2015-2016 & won a Teaching & Learning Award for her role then. She went on to become the Principal Dental Officer with Queensland Health as a part of the Oral Health Alliance with UQ & was responsible for clinics focussed on General & Restorative Dentistry. She loves being a mother and interacting with patients and students and chose to step away from management to be into frontline dentistry again.
Kiki is known for her compassionate side and she enjoys Restorative and Preventive Dentistry and has a special interest in patients with Special Needs and excels at putting anxious patients to ease. She’s known for her attention to detail and minimalistic approach of intervention to dentistry and outside of work enjoys gardening, being a Mum, traveling, going for runs with her daughter and a bit of creative writing. She’s also published and co authored an abstract with Dr Peter Dyer & Prof Peter Thomson that was selected by the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) in 2018.
