Dr Diny Siddiqi

Dr Diny Siddiqi is a male Specialist Periodontist.

Dr Diny began his dental training at the Nishtar Medical College, Multan, where he received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. He then worked as a lecturer in the same institute for around 8-years. Dr Diny then pursued post-graduation training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa. After completing his diploma and masters degree, Dr Diny achieved two fellowships in craniomaxillofacial surgery from Germany (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Goethe University, Frankfurt).

Dr Diny then completed his clinical PhD in oral Implantology from Otago University. His PhD involved oral rehabilitation of a completely edentulous patient with titanium and zirconia implants. After completing his PhD, he worked as a Senior Lecture in a dental school in NSW for two-and-half years. Dr. Diny then completed his specialization in Periodontics and Implant Surgery (Doctor of Clinical Dentistry) by completing his residency at Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia.

Dr Diny has particular interests in minimally-invasive approaches to periodontal surgery. He is an expert in dental implant therapy, periodontal surgery, bone augmentation, and osseous reconstruction. He also focuses on regenerative medicine in surgery and bio-engineering to grow bone and soft tissue. Dr. Diny also provides numerous cosmetic procedures to enhance his patients’ smile — from gum contouring to lip augmentation. As an innovative researcher in periodotology and implant dentistry, he has published over 30 research papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Diny’s recent research has shown that patients with diabetes mellitus lack knowledge of the bidirectional association between periodontal disease and diabetes mellitus. In this regard, Diny has conducted a series of studies that have urged that medical-healthcare professionals and dentists should consider every patient as a shared responsibility.
