Dr Alissa K Jacobs is a female Specialist in Oral Medicine.
The Centre for Oral Medicine and Facial Pain is co-owned and co-led by Dr Alissa Jacobs. With over a decade of formal education in the head and neck region, Dr Jacobs holds a dental degree as well as a Graduate Diploma in Oral Health. In 2009 her interest in Oral Medicine led her to pursue a Doctorate in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology.
Dr Jacobs has a wealth of hands-on experience in Oral Medicine. As the advances in procedures and management continue to evolve, Dr Jacobs regularly attends and presents at conferences to keep up to date with the latest techniques, products and technologies.
Dr Jacobs is also a trainer and educator at the University of Western Australia, lecturing and tutoring in both the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry and Doctor of Dental Medicine. She also holds a position as an Honorary Research Fellow. She also regularly presents continuing education courses for general dentists, allied health professionals and medical doctors both locally and nationally.
