Dr Alan Zhang is a male General Dentist who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin (as well as English).
Alan grew up in Melbourne, completed his dental training in Brisbane at the University of Queensland.
Since graduating, he was worked and trained extensively in Hobart, Myrtleford, Bright, Benalla and Yarrawonga before relocating to work in his own practice at Heyfield, East Gippsland Victoria.
Alan has an active interest in all aspects of dentistry with particular focus on complicated treatment plans and difficult cases. He attributes his can-do attitude to the high-pressure situations he has experienced through his prior experiences and has a high desire to question and work out complicated cases.
Alan has undertaken an extensive course overseas in implant surgery and has trained and practiced extensively during the course to implement techniques to aid his general practice. He has a keen interest in surgery and is well rehearsed in difficult extractions.
Alan has a particular passion in treating anxious and nervous patients. He understands that the dental treatment process isn’t an easy one and will do his very best to put the patients at ease during the course of their treatment.
