Dr Alan M Broughton is a male Specialist Prosthodontist.
Dr Alan Broughton is a Specialist Prosthodontist and a senior member of our clinical services team. He is a graduate of the University of Adelaide. Alan has been at the forefront of dental innovation for over 30 years and is internationally renowned for his clinical expertise and treatment outcomes.
Alan is currently Associate Professor at the Adelaide Dental School and is the undergraduate learning and teaching lead. He is also very active in delivering local, national and international lectures regarding clinical best-practice.
Currently, Alan is Chair of the Board of Studies Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and this follows fifteen years as a college examiner. He has held visiting academic posts with the University of Sydney and Charles Sturt University.
Alan was the scientific Chairperson for the 2019 Australian Dental Congress and remains on the scientific committee for the 2023 World Dental Congress. Alan’s special interests include oral rehabilitation, aesthetic dentistry and implant dentistry.
