Dr Sam Atteya is a male General Dentist who speaks Arabic (as well as English).
Sam graduated from the University of Cairo in 2000 with Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS).
He was initially drawn to dentistry after his own unpleasant experience as a kid in the dental chair, which actually made him think that “a dentist visit should be a better experience”.
Sam moved to Australia in 2010 and he absolutely loves living in Melbourne, and calls it “HOME” now. He brings to Vineyard Dental more than 16 years of extensive valuable experience in general dentistry which he gained in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and in multiple private practices in Melbourne. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne for the Clinical Training Unit of the Dental Health Services of Victoria, and a Mentor for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Sydney.Sam strongly believes that continuing professional development is a must to keep up with advancements in modern dentistry and to ensure competency in his profession, hence he has attained the well reputable Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS), the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd) and the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFDS RCSI).Dr Atteya has special interests in Implant Dentistry and Oral Surgery (especially wisdom teeth surgeries), as we as Root Canal Treatment and Cosmetic Dentistry.
