Dr Stephen J Mace is a male General Dentist.
After graduating in 2004, Dr Mace worked in the UK for 3 years before emigrating to Australia. After working for several years as a general dentist, he then completed a postgraduate degree in Aesthetic Dentistry over a 2 year part time masters program at The University of Manchester (UK) whilst still living in Melbourne. This further study has given him a much greater depth of knowledge of complex dental treatment planning and greater ability to meet the cosmetic dental needs of today’s patients.
Experienced in all areas of dental treatment, Dr Mace is currently developing his interests in dental implant surgery and cosmetic orthodontics through clear braces (Invisalign).
Fresh Start Dental is just that, a new start in a new area. Dr Mace aims to create an important centre of healthcare in the region, a place that people can rely on, and a permanent part of the fabric of the local community.
The most important things in his life away from Fresh Start are of course his wife, and their young son. Beyond that, he is a keen triathlete, a sports fan (especially of Arsenal Football Club) and is looking forward to all that the outdoors life has to offer in Tasmania.
