Dr Shoaib U Choudhari is a male General Dentist who speaks Urdu (as well as English).
Shoaib (pronounced “show-ab”) undertook his dentistry qualifications at Griffith University in 2008, and then worked in Casino as a general dentist for two and a half years before going to England to pursue post graduate studies. In England, he worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Born in Pakistan, Shoaib came to Australia in 1992 as a nine year old. The Choudhari family settled in Kingscliff, where Shoaib completed the majority of his schooling. Shoaib is a nephew of the late Dr Zam Chaudari, who will be fondly remembered by many on the Tweed Coast as a highly respected GP in Kingscliff.
Shoaib returned to Australia in late 2013 after being accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery program to start medicine in Adelaide, but the plans of Shoaib and his wife, Reema, changed suddenly when they discovered they were expecting their first child. Coming home to the Tweed seemed the most natural thing to do.
Shoaib is interested in all areas of general dentistry but has a special interest in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
