Dr Yana Itskovich is a female Specialist Orthodontist who speaks Russian (as well as English).
Yana obtained her dental degree in 2008 from Griffith University in Queensland. After working in government and rural practices, she completed her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics at The University of Otago in New Zealand. In 2016, Yana was admitted to the fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and subsequently to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).
Yana holds academic positions as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Melbourne and is involved in examining both undergraduate and postgraduate students in orthodontics, as well as reviewing articles in orthodontic research journals.
Above all, Yana loves being an orthodontist and giving back to the community. She has a particular interest in treating children and loves explaining everything to make her patients feel involved.
